i will assume this is where i post this, i dont want b****ed at for being the stoop newbie......but here is my problem

my 99 tib......when no lights or nothing are on, when i hit brakes.........dash lights, and parking lights come on, whether car is on or off, keys in or not
and when my head lights and everything are turned on.......my brake lights stay on....including the spoiler brake light also.....i would assume a short somewhere, but i don't even know where to begin looking..........any help here?......and once again i know this don't prolly belong in here with the electrical problem........but what all would help w/ improving my gas mileage besides, fuel filter, and tuneup so on

 

^^ You should have started a new thread for both questions. This thread is for discussing fuse problems. You probly have the wrong bulb in the brakelight/running light socket.
