Electrical Problem.

yeah i know.
thats why i disconnected the battery for 12 hours to see if it would loose its charge.
well i just put it back on and it started just fine. so i must have a constant draw or short somewhere.
damn this is going to take forever to find.
couldnt i take my multimeter and hook it up to the battery and watch the voltage while taking out each fuse in the 8ga blocks to narrow it down if its coming from there?
anyone help me on this?

^^^^ so what do you think it is? i need help
should i get another battery and test it again?

well here is the update.
i put in a new battery and everything seems fine so far. all this for nothing?
i guess the other battery (yellow top optima) was going bad. even though it would hold the charge, i guess not for long.
also i guess it wouldn't allow the alt to provide more power for the car or something since the battery was messed up?
not sure if this will fix the switch problem but we'll see in the next day or so.

A yellow top is a deep cycle battery. With running a high quick cycle alt, you will fry a yellow top. I would change to the red and run an ext yellow in the truck with a resister to drop the current down for the charge.

if you removed the wiring from alt to battery, that is your problem. you would have removed the alternators sensing ability, and you will be overcharging every single battery you keep putting in their.

oh if i replaced the wire? ok so i havent done that. are you suggesting that i do?
everything seems to be fine with the new battery but now i have two extra batteries. the yellow top optima and i also have a stinger battery. maybe i'll put one of those in the trunk.
i wouldnt need a resistor? what would the problem be with the yellow top?
