REALLY, the most important part is finding out what's under that board. The points where it's connected and what each one is.
With that information then you can decide how you want to change each item. I used to know alot about this stuff. I completed about 1/2 of what I need to get an electrical engineering degree. Someday I might go back and finish it....

lets hope this gets somewhere instead of a bunch of speculations and false hopes. scoupe is a good guy im sure if it can be done he will do what he can to get it done.

If that's all there is to it, I can reverse engineer some of that. It's a matter of tracing the wires and hooking up some pots. I need to get a spare ECU. I didn't see a actual IC on that picture anywhere.
it seriously looks like they just read the Pin-outs and modified the signals. It looks like a relay in the center. I can set-up RC time constants and stuff, but I really need something to start with. I don't have a spare ECU.
It really would be quicker if you could take a heat gun to that hot glue they put all over it and at least free up enough to read the markings on the components. What is that in the center?
