Alright, it wouldn't surprise me if this has been covered before and I know Airborne had something going for a little while, but if I swap to a newer ecu (map based) and swap the maf meter for a map sensor would I be good to go? Or is there uncompatible sensors in the maf-based car? My car is a 2000 tib and I wanted to swap with 2003+ map based ecu/ecm (whatever you want to call it)?

you would need a new IAT MAP CPS and one other that i cant remember... also map based ecu's do not have the same pinout as a maf based one, so you would need a wiring harness converter of some sort or wire it directly. But it will definately not even be close to "plug and play"

Yeah, unfortunately I already know about the wiring issue. I have a pin layout for the maf ecu and I'm sure a diagram for the 03+ map ecu is easy to find. Thanx for the tips (the iat and map sensor is integrated right?).
