I was at the junkyard literaly sitting in between the hood and the engine bay trying to remove the head on it while some guy came up behind me and i noticed he was standing there for a little longer then i felt comfortable... ends up he owns a RD tiburon also and had seen mine in the parking lot, wondering if it was me who owned it. I got to talking to him about his list of mods and such and he mentioned that he was starting to mod his tib. He so far had AEM intake, OBX headers, and NGK plugs/wires. He also mentioned he had one of those +4000000 Horsepower 5000% MPG (slight exageration.. =P) chips from ebay. I immedialty laughed however he correct me quickly saying he felt an amazing difference. IMO, hes full of shit, but if anyone can validate this feel free to comment. I mean I was always under the impression they dont do anything and can really mess up things.

hahaha thats funny.

Theres no actual power gain in his car, he just "feels" one because the chip promised power gain.

Isn't that Ebay chip just a resistor that you can buy at any radio shack?

well you will probably feel a small difference, however, its no 101010101010 hp gain.. those resistors basically give the ECU a certain voltage and the car runs a little leaner because the ECU thinks there is colder air or something like that, so you might feel (hardly) a gain. and if your convinced there would be a gain, ull feel more. lol
