I cleaned my MAF and changed my PCV valve a total of 15 min of work and my car runs smoother during accelleration and decelleration. It seems to have more power all the way through the powerband. Also I usally get like 260 miles per tank ive drove 220 miles and i still have about a 1/3 of a tank probibly 100 miles or so left. Best $10 ive ever spent lol(CRC MAF cleaner and PCV valve). I never expected this drastic improvement in performance but im not gonna complain.

Napa, Autozone.

You spray the element with it and it cleans any dust and dirt off it and reads more accurately. PCV valve I usually change out pretty often. Its cheap and cant hurt.

P.S. (noobs) There are instructions on the can also. fing02.gif

Also, dont use brakleen. Some people use brakleen or electronic cleaner. Get the right stuff. Supposedly other stuff can harm it.

Buy any MAF sensor cleaner from any autoparts store. Take the MAF off the car. Follow directions on can. Spray generously. Let it completly dry before putting it back on. The PCV valve is easy disconnect the hose use a 14mm wrench unscrew old one. screw the new one in then connect the hose.

LOL they're all 10 years old if they're an RD platform (well, almost) just follow the directions on the can. I just (2 days ago) cleaned my MAFS with isopropanol on a q-tip. For the 2nd or 3rd time.
