I kinda forgot about this until today when i went to get in my car, but the other day i shut my door and tried to open it again and got denied. The window was down so it wasnt like locked my keys in it or anything. But my door panel is currently off because my other door wouldnt unlock with the drivers door. If i try unlocking and locking the door from the inside, it makes a noise, hard to explain it, but the damn door wont open even in the unlock position. If i try unlocking it with the key from the outside still wont open... so i have no clue whats wrong with it. If anyone has any clue what could be wrong it would be a great help so i dont tear my door off. And i am planning on changing the actuator since i think that may be one problem. Thanks

Ok at first the passenger side door wasnt unlocking with drivers door, so i took the door panel off to see if i could figure it out.
The other day i shut my drivers door, and i went to open it again and it would not come open, so i tried unlocking it from the inside and outside and the door wouldn't open.
So my problem is that the drivers door will not open, from the inside or outside, when in the unlocked position.
Sorry for the mixup

probably some linkage broken from the switch to the lock, open it up and see. If not it might be the actual lock.

weird problem. never heard of it before. there should be one link that hooks up to the actuator. remove it from the actuator. move it left it should unlock. move it right and it should lock. if it doesn't do that, you'll need to take it all apart. it's a little tight but from what i've seen it's possible to get a flashlight and see the mechanism.

had to use some craftiness but i got the door to open, the mechanism is all messed up, i reall have no idea what is wrong with it, but im just happy i got the door open. I took the whole door latch mechanism out, and im probably just going to replace it with the one i have on my spare door. And i figured out why my passenger door was not unlocking... on of the rods wasnt connected but i fixed that.
