I've heard of people doing that with NA cars as well.

 

Me too, or spraying down their filters with those compressed air cans tipped upside down so you frost the hell out of it.

It supposse to work better on 6 or 8 cylinder.... But it's most like a fashion than a tuning item....

Don't buy it pal... save your money for a real Cold Air Intake...

 

It wont work on any vehicle with a throttle body because as soon as the exhaust hits the throttle plate, any cyclonic activity is stopped. The only place it may work would be in the exhaust (if the exhaust was straight through) and possible the intake runners. Since it isn't made for these, don't waste money or time. The rifled intake runners wouldn't be a bad idea...
