Do I need a special tool to remove the oxygen sensors?

before you go buying special tool most everyone has a 7/8" box end wrench lying around. i felt like a real azz when i went to the napa next door and asked if he had a O2 sensor socket and all he did was use the 7/8" wrench, popped right off.

I just use a Crescent Wrench. If it won't break loose by hand, then hit the wrench handle with a rubber mallet till it breaks loose or find a pipe that fits over the wrench handle to use as a breaker bar. Thats how I take them off on all my cars.
