I had had 3 hinges break on me in the last 2 years. I'm not doing anything crazy with the hood and these are factory hinges and hood. Does anyone else have this problem? They just seem to be really brittle and weak.

 

They are not the best, and tib hoods are too dam heavy...Worked fine with the cf hood for 10 years or so.

 

I went through 2 hinges on my RD when I had it. They definitely seem to be one of the more weaker parts of the car.
