In the DIY section, I found a thread about a guy putting a Beta2 into his RD1. I'm assuming there's no difference, seeing as the RD1 and RD2 both had the same engine, for the most part, i think..but I want to make sure if it's useable and up to date so that if my dad and I decide to do our engine swap ourselves, we could use it.

 

Yes, most of the under hood items are very similar between the RD tibs. Unless of course you have a 1.8L rev-a that had the evap can. Other then that... pretty much the same engine.

 

no 1.8 for me, had the 2.0L, so guess if we do it, I'll use that guide. thank you much
