LOL, 0447 is EVAP Cannister Purge Valve...
Dedicate at least an hour on this site to searching in the DIY section and other section for "EVAP CANNISTER"
Or just "EVAP"
If you don't have a revA, then all you need to do is inspect your EVAP CAnnister. THe most likely reason for that code is your purge valve has been disconnected. Make sure it is plugged in. If that's okay move onto the hoses, secure connections, no cracks in hoses (especially the gas fumes hose)...

As I stated, the search has been done. The RevA, which is a PITA, has the Evap Can in the front driverside, which I removed and replaced with a T and plugged the 3 hoses into. Problem remains and the damn gastank hisses at me for it. Also Im moving to Cali in 3 days. Heard inspections are a B@#%! So... do I find someone really nice looking to pass me without a Evap or do I relocate the POS to the rear? Im sure someone in Cali has an answer to this Q...
OK I reread everything I could find reguarding the Evap Can so I went outside to make sure everything was plugged in correctly and it was... yet still no good.

follow the DIY in the DIY forum (there are 2) either one will work it isnt just the three hoses that need to be pluged in there is a sensor down there you had to unplug to take out the canister make sure it is pluged in and correct. thats what is giving u a cel. also after u fix it or adjust anything u need to reset your ECU (search if you don't know how)
good luck

Your gas cap hisses at you?
All the time?
You said above that your GAS TANK hisses at you, so don't get pissy with folks tryin to help you out.
Post some pics of your cannister removal work, so we can see what you did wrong.
Is your solenoid still attached or not? Did you cut the wires or no?

O NO NO NO, not** getting pissy! I just have no clue what hes talking about! screw caps? where? lmao... Also i think i found the sensor going to the valve wasnt plugged in but cut off and sitting in my batt tray... not good WTF! think body shop did it when fixing front end... but yes its hissing so im checking it yet again to make sure i get wires and sensor plugged in and hoses are correct... will get back 2 u if it worked.
Also if the gas cap is hissing, that means it's not sealing properly and that will throw a cel (had it happen to me). But I don't think its the code that you got. Sounds like you might of found the problem anyway.
