Hey guys,,

My CV joint boot is broken on the passenger side. The car is making a disgusting crunching/grinding noise when i turn the corner. The car also jerks while i'm driving,, is that the CV too?? kind of pulls the wheel out of my hand a bit. Also,,, when i brake there is a pulsating in the brake pedal,, can the be caused by the joint beeing messed up?? or is that an unrelated,,, rotor problem or something. Please help me out with some input.

Thanks

One should not be trying to diagnose a possible problem before fixing a known problem.

Get your CV joint fixed and see if your problems go away and if they don't then we can dig down and see what we come up with.

Ok got the CV joint/axle replaced, and the jerking and crunching sounds are gone. Still have the pulsating in the pedal though when i brake. Is it possible to feel the rears in the pedal?? i thought you could only feel the fronts if they were warped. Is it possible my rears are warped??

Usually the pulsating is caused by warped rotors. Open your window when you brake and see if you hear the pulsating as well. If you can, it's probably the rotors.
