Okay, so we all know that the RSide adjustable 61mm BBTB is supposed to be one of the best for us, and it's especially nice for those of us who have cruise control since most TB's don't have a second pulley...or not?
RSide twin throttle pulleys suck.
For anyone who's replaced their TB, you know how the throttle cable has a big round end, and the cruise one has a little stubby oval end where it sticks into the TB pulley. Well, on RSide's BBTB they made both of the holes for the throttle cable size, and being that the cruise one is longer, it just doesn't fit in right, you can make it fit, but then when you try to stick the throttle pulley in, there's not enough room, so it's kind of a trade-off. I'm sorta pissed..
Please someone tell me that I'm just doing something wrong and I can still keep my cruise with this TB
On another note, after having to make 2 home-made brackets (one for cruise vacuum pump and one to hold the throttle/cruise cables to the IM), I finally finished the airram install.
WOW.
Really smooth acceleration, good sound too. Awesome gains.

I messed with it for about an hour dude, I can't get it to stay there. I can get it IN, then it always pops out whenever the pulley turns, because the cable stays loose until the cruise is engaged. When the cruise is not engaged the cable stays loose, and when the pulley turns and the cable is loose (since the end doesn't sit tight in the pulley) it falls out.
I don't want to lose my cruise..............

any way to do it without jb weld?
i wanna know how redz did it, and i have 01roller's old tb, i'm sure he had it rigged so the cruise worked..
offtopic, the airram install pissed me off. the im support bracket is hard to get, you have to make your own bracket to hold the throttle/cruise cables, and if you have cruise you need to make your own bracket to hold the vacuum pump on. most of the time you can just reuse or at least slightly modify the stock ones but no, you have to straight up create your own.

redz drilled a little dimple in the big t end so that the small one would partially sit in it. its hard to do though and still doesnt sit in it perfectly. when i get everything else wrapped up, im definately throwing a little bit of jbweld on that thing.
