Hey, So when i first bought my tiburon last year it had this same noise. Its hard to explain but it is coming from the passengers side front wheel area. When I amd at a stop and start moving it begines to make a creeking sound could be described as a kind of torqueing sound. It will make the same kind of sound when i break sometimes.

After a few months of owning the car it either went away or i never heard it due to the radio im not sure. I dont remember it much during winter but now its summer again and it sounds the same as when i bought it.

I have an idea of what it may be but I wanna see when you guys think it could be.

Thanks a bunch

no its around the wheel. It sounds like when you step on a creeking step in a house or something.

What are your suspension mods? Is your suspension very stiff?
I was talking at the local Hyundai dealer last week, and they told me sometimes there are owners complaining about strange noises and after they review all the car and dissasemble the entire dash, they find the body itself is cracked in the lower part, and that's what makes sounds...
maybe it could be that?
I don't want to kidnap the thread, so I'll start another if this is too OT.

its just the stock suspension. Thats what i think it is. Something with the strut it is bent a little bit. I just hope its not the body its self.

Mine did that after about a yr or 100,000 miles - turns out it had little rocks stuck up under the sway bar.. I think.
Hyundai fixed it for free.
