He's not from California so the second cat isn't an issue, a lot of people still need the first cat so as to pass obd2 and so their car doesn't smell

p.s. if you don't need to reference something specific from a post don't quote it in your reply, just use the add reply button at the bottom. It makes this smoother to read.

Krazy_tib, thanks for the advice, but I am running a turbo. And I have already found a good cat, as you would notice if you would read the entire thread

Maybe a stupid question... but what do you guys mean with CEL?
Don't understand what it means because my english ain't perfect, sorry for that.
I'm searching for a good converter myself, but I first have to find out if my car has the same diameter piping as yours. (I've got a Europian Tiburon might be slightly different?)

Check
Engine
Llight

It is one of the indicators on the instrument panel. It illuminates when any of several hundred fault conditions exist in your car.

The piping varies in size from model to model as well as year to year.

Since he's in Amersterdam he may not have OBD-II and may or may not get CEL codes. I myself run a Random Technology 3" race cat with stainless steel mesh. It was the only way I could get the CEL to go away and actually pass the dyno sniff test in colorado.
