Can you bake and open up RD2 headlights?

Default Can you bake and open up RD2 headlights?

For blacking out purpose. If anybody has done it, can you post pics? I've seen pics online where people have done angeleyes but I dont know if they baked the lights to open them and install the rings or did something else.

My buddy and I did his angel eyes yeeeeaaarrrsss ago, we baked and opened. The lock tabs become a little flimsy, be careful and make sure to hold them down until they are solid again when going back together.

heatgun or an oven. if you use an oven, DO NOT go over ~100'C

You gotta bake. There is a bake DIY here by Loneshark. Use an electric oven and be careful not to melt the housing. I've done that like 3 times unfortunately.



I would stay clear of doing that though. The Tib lights are weak as it is.
