Actually, you didn't.

Seems that you did talk to someone from the forums about it though.
No, you'll have no problems with a CAI in the winter, just don't drive thru any puddles that are deeper than the bottom of your front bumper.

this will be the third winter I have run my CAI... and that includes, rain, freezing rain, snow, and slush.. but then I also run summer tyres all year too, lots of fun in the snow!

funy timing of this post. i was worried about this very issue. apparently, you can brush the sweat off of your forehead because winter isn't really an issue for CAI's.
my question is if you CAI is warm/hot, will the air inside freeze up and form ice particles that can form up to the top?
i do reccomend bypass valves if you are asking any questions like these. i got a bypass valve. apparently it's very hard to find a shop that will cut your CAI tubing in half. luckily my mechanic owns a bodyshop and can cut the piping in half, so tomorrow afternoon will be my first time seeing/hearing the car with it on!

If you run threw snow/water deeper than your front bumber there is something wrong with you anyway. But if you do, you could hook up a snorkel like they do on those off road jeeps and such, those are sweet.
