ok here is my problem, i got a CAI off of ebay 02.gif I know that was stupid but i just wanted something cheap. so i guess i got what i deserve. but anyways the problem with it is, to fit on there in the spot it wants to go i would have to move the battery. Is there anyway i could move the battery without having to relocate it to the back? meaning is there a way i could just move battery out of the way. i have no idea if this is possible or if everyone knew this and this is just a dumb question. but please help me out and tell me what i need to do. And please dont say buy an AEM CAI or anything like that smile.gif

You can move it anywhere you want... Hell, you could have the battery sitting in the passenger seat if you wanted. tongue.gif

Try and move the battery holder out to an angle... I've seen that done to accomodate CAIs on this site before.

I'm one of the guys who has the batter moved over to the side. If you need to, you can always drill new holes for the battery trey and move it at an angel. Hopefully the seller will provide some instructions.

I get to show off my battery again! laugh.gif

Mixture of old and new pics.. but you can see how my battery is at an angle. I have an ebay CAI (one piece, I think Java has the same or similar) and I had to make a hole right were the battery sits stock...
