Still too much for a 12 to 15 HP gain, at best.

Not to mention the issues involved with the previous folks that have had it.

But hey, go for it, I'm always up for seeing new stuff done.

Redz, if it works then $400 for 15 HP would be about par for the course in an N/A setup around here. How much HP are people gaining from there $700 AirRams? Now, whether it works or not and whether it's a load of trouble outside of that is a whole other issue, but that's not that bad a deal if you just consider the HP gain.

You want 12 to 15 WHP, buy a CAI.

LOL

That's cheap.

Now, it may be that you will get more HP out of this with other mods, could VERY well be since it's mostly messing with your A/F ratio and stuff. This is why I'd like to see it.

But $400 for something that you can't tune? Meh.

Oh, that's right, you guys don't know about my Megasquirt project do ya? LOL Should be cheaper than $400.

Plug and play. I should have mine tomorrow.

is that the system that i have heard about that just plugs in to the ecu harness. is it a stand alone?

Megasquirt can be used as a piggyback or a standalone. In this case, it'll be a stand alone. It's INSIDE a stock ECU, so you just plug it in and play.

Interesting, a cheaper option then the dual rail kit and SMT. I await to see this.

I've seriously considered the Aussie PSC standalone. I'd love something tuneable (like any GM!) with a laptop. No bad fuel maps to work around, no pissy PCM that wants to relearn itself, instant adjustability for different conditions/needs. . .

But this will have to wait until I get a true toy.

Megasquirt is tuned via a Laptop or a PC in the garage if I remember correctly.

The kit we will be selling should include all, unless you want to swap to MAP, but I'm sure we can do that too. More info is coming. I'd tell you more, but according to most folks here, I don't actually develop anything or get anything new made for our cars, I just get free parts.
