Blowing From The Door
I have a problem - when I open driver's window (no matter is it 1/4" or fully open) there is blowing from door handle/lock area. It's so annoying.
How to get rid of it?

Take the door panel apart, check and see what the condition of your vapor barrier is like.
It's the plastic sheet that is held on by urethane.
If you need to get a new one from the dealer, it's cheap!

I have found that a LOT of cars have this problem. I remember when I was kid sitting in the back of my parent's Mercury Marquis. They are smokers, so they would leave the front windows open just a crack to vent the smoke.. even in winter. My sis and I used to FREEZE in the back because of the cold air that would shoot into the back through the opening for the interior door handle and power window switch. It would hit us right in the knee closest to the door.

it happens in just about every car; More specificly every car from the late nineties. I'm pretty sure it happens from the ventilation of the screw in the door hande from the pressure that builds up in the door when the car is moving. But I'm no mathematician wink1.gif

The window may be acting as a spoiler, and is deflecting the air and creating the wind noise.
What about the rubber weather stripping, could that have something to do with it? I know tiburons are bad for the wind noise at the mirror.

it's caused by a pressure differential. When you have the window open, the movement of the car sucks air out, especially when only cracked a hair. By causing a slight vacuume, the air can seep in through any other opening it can find.. that includes the outer doorhandle, drain vents in the bottom of the door, and the slightly open weatherstripping at the top of the door where the glass slides down into it.
