My check engine light started flashing [which i figured couldnt be good] and then by listening to the motor run, you could clearly tell it was missing. Now I have a 3cyl. tib and I dont know why. Why would the car be missing for no real reason? Suggestions welcomed as to why and how to fix. Thanks in advance!

I personally would pull the plug, set it on the frame and see if you get spark. If you dont, its coil, wire, plugs.

If you do get spark, check the injector.

Yeah, usually flashing CEL means somethings wrong with your ignition system.

^^ Which would probably be the extra fuel going through since one cylinder isn't sparking. I had that happen on my Sephia, it was the wires.

it was the far right plug wire on the manifold. i guess it got too hot blowup.gif and spider cracked causing it to arc within itself. now im wondering...how do i reset my computer to get the CEL to go out? or will it do it itself in time? crazy.gif

wouldn't standard thing work? Disconnect -, press brakes for like 5 min, connect it back?
