Anyone knows if the 97 tib exhaust differ from the 99?

Default Anyone knows if the 97 tib exhaust differ from the 99?

I got an exhaust which is 3 bolt flange. The piece where im looking to connect it to is only 2 bolt. I know its the right exhaust. Just don't know why my tiburon is different sad.gif sad.gif . Any help would be REALLY appreciated. Thanks

What brand exhaust did you get, I have a '97 and it was only two bolts that needed putting together? That's odd, I don't think the '99s have 3 bolt flanges. This probably didn't help, but yeah, I ordered the HKS rear section muffler, and it's only 2 bolts.

haha, actaully that helped a lot. I got a pacesetter exhaust. It came as a 3-bolt flange. So i am not sure what i am going to do. Thanks for the help though.

Apparently the 1997 and 1999 have 2 bolt flanges. The 1998's have three bolt flanges.

If you contact Pacesetter, they should be able to send you out a proper unit, or compensate you for having the 3 bolt flange removed and a 2 bolt flange put in in it's place.
