Default Any Hyundai dealer rep's?

Okay to start it off, about 2 months ago I went in and had them check an CEL that came on. They told me it was the cat and had to be replaced. I was still under warrenty and they replaced it for free.

Last night I replaced my 2nd 02 sensor, and once I got under the car the cat looked exactly as it did before the swap. The flanges and bolts are all rusted up, it doesn't seem like anyone ever unbolted the cat or anything since the car got off the lot.

Now I'm curious for the Hyundai guys that work at the dealership, could you inform me on what I should do? I was thinking of going back and informing me that this was not changed, and I was lied too but how will I prove it?

I also got a couple questions.
What does the original cat come with? Is it welded on? How is it installed by your mechanics? And also any one else that may be reading this and has a stock exhaust and happen to have any pics of there stock cat please post them up along with the miles on your car and if it was ever replaced.

Thanks in advanced.

Do you have 1 or 2 cats? I have a 2000 and only 1 cat, in front of the block. If you have 2 maybe they replaced the one you didn't look at.

It's a 97. They replaced the cat inbetween the 02 sensors. So they claim. I checked it out. IT has MAJOR rust on the flanges it does not look like it has ever been changed. It cannot rust like this in 5000 miles.
