Air-ram without BBTB, you probably won't see much gains without having the rest of the intake system done before it (CAI, TB)... also you won't see all the gains from it until you get some better camshafts. Its not really designed to benefit mild setups, its more of a power item since it has a fairly large plenum among other things.

Another thing to note, you'll save on installation charges putting them both in at once.

If your car will be stopped anyway, put the AirRam in, it's installation is much more complicated than the TB, so you will have 80% of the battle won; on the other side, you won't loose even 1HP, actually you don't loose anything, you gain less HP, which is much different. Just put it on, the sound only will be an absolut compensation for having it there.

I would def put the Airram on and then fit the TB when you get it.

ham do you mean that you won't feel many gains from the airram unless you have hi-cams? what degree? what is the highest degree you could use without a piggyback? the gains of this?

on topic:
i think you should just get the airram put on, the TB is an easy install you can DIY later on (when i installed it it was easier than installing the cai imo)

Trust me, you don't need cams to feel the difference the AirRam gives you.

really? from what I heard the gains are very subtle from the 1.8 cam. I was going to buy blue dragon's, but tibminn beat me to it, and he said that when he got it installed there was only a slight difference.
