So,
Piston 3 sheared a connecting rod bolt and was bent.
Crank just came back and was fine, but made me decide to return to stock rods and pistons for now.
Oil pickup was loaded with metal flakes. Swapped it out with a beta I oil pickup so to lower the chance of another one getting filled up with no way to clean without dropping the oil pan.
I'm down to just re-attaching the flywheel and clutch, then mounting the trans and it'll be ready for me to drop it back into the engine bay.

So got her fired up and tried to reprogram the fic when I noticed a steep drop in oil pressure. From around 50 psi when she first started to just about 10 when I shut it down to save the engine.
So does anyone know off hand what the warm operating pressure of oil is?
Also deeply thinking of pulling the engine again and replacing almost everthing *sigh* again.
Gonna pull a quick oil change first and try to find any oil leaks, try to figure where my she's losing pressure from.

That would be the next step. Although more than likely. Might have to pull the engine again and re-check the journals. Then find out what oversize I might need. Hindsight, but, I should've caught that when I was rebuilding. Too much of a rush to get her going again. Bit me in the ass.

Sweet !, glad to see you not giving up !!! ..I've been to the track(today)and a few times this year as pit crew/spectator, dynoed hundreds of cars this year..but not mine lol..I sometimes get frustrated and want to start a fresh new project,but ,I only have a few things holding me back,nothing serious, just allocating funds between 4 rides and a mortage keeping me from setting a new high boost tune on the dyno....soon...

Soo, did have the wrong fitting, but oil pressure still only holding at 21-23 psi. Sooo gonna pull the engine and re-check the gaps.
