Well, it depends where you want your power.

4-2-1 for low-mid range, 4-1 for more high end. Right now the only thing you have planned that would add low is the intake. If you want a more even, but not necessarily more power, powerband, then the 4-2-1 would really help with midrange, like 3000-4000. 1.8L cam and airram especially are high RPM items.

A typical 4-2-1 header can give you some added power in the low to midrange area. a 4-1 tends to give you more top end at the expense of some low end. If you're into everyday street driving and do not race or rag on your car often, a 4-2-1 will probably be a good choice. There are some affordable 4-2-1 headers out there if you're on a budget...SSA or OBX are popular affordable brands but the more expensive headers tend to be the better quality.

ya so 4-2-1 would probably be best, that'll take care of low end power and when i get my air ram, that'll take care of high end power increase right?

I've had both headers and you cannot feel any increase in power for 4-2-1 and you actually feel some loss of power with 4-1 in low end. 4-2-1 gives you a lot of power in mid and top end as well, it pulls like crazy!!! 4-1 is very nice in top end, but I had stock exhaust and couldn't really tell how it works 100%.

If you are not a drag racer, then stick with 4-2-1 smile.gif

If you want a good header then get one from GB, and if you are looking for OK header OBX will do, they are $155 on ebay smile.gif

Those OBX's are good but OP is right, I would look into the GT header on the GB..unless, of course it's more economical for you to go with the OBX
