2003 BETA Exhaust
Anybody know why there are two exhaust tips on the 4cyl version of the 2003 tib? Does the muffler split into two tips like camaros and certain versions of the neon. It certainly can't be true duals. Any ideas or is this just factory rice?

It's true!
The other exhasut tip just has the muffler attached to it and no pipe connecting to anything.
When I asked the dealer he told me it was a true dual exhaust then I looked for myself and told him he was wrong and he might want to look again

I went last night to confirm my thoughts. The only 4cyl model they have had the two tips. It did however have two seperate mufflers. It only had one very small pipe as the main exhaust. The first thing that I would recomend is swiching to a single outlet exhaust. It would be lighter and if done right would flow better.
From what I understand is that there are two mufflers on both the 4 and 6 cyl models. Understand that two mufflers don't mean dual exhaust unles they each are attatched to seperate pipes from the motor. In both versions there is a single pipe that comes from the exhaust manifold(s) and then simply splits into two mufflers. You could buy/build duals for the 6 cyl but it would be impracticle for the BETA.
