Another N/A guy, these guys come around all to often, you know Team Max is a Korean Hyundai Expert and they only were able to make 200+ HP, you can reach that for literally 1/4th cost and a simple turbo kit.

Also the head WILL need to be built that is simply the most important part of even trying to make power with a BETA.

In order to reach 200whp in I a Tib you will need that motor built to the huilt and about to explode, quite literally, ever seen heard and N/A high horsepower vehicles, there god aweful, and usually dont last long as the our already long stroke engine, and now your turning to turn it 9k Rmps.

How about you dont waste you time and money, and go Turbo.....

The motor alone would cost probably 10k then you got fueling, and tuning.. haha

Main part i like is "Anybody know of any 200 HP tibbys thats not forced induction(turbo/supercharger) or without a bored head"

There is no way you could reach that with out head work, have you seen what the runners look like from the factory?

That would be the FIRST thing I would do no matter N/A or F/I!!!

Hyundai did it themselves alongside MSD (their WRC partner and car builder) did it in the UK, there were going to release the F2 Evo with around 200bhp,as it was meant to be rivalling other special edition 2.0s such as the Celica ST190. They got is past 200bhp, but Hyundai took 1 look and wouldn't warrantee it, so had to settle for 145 BHP. As turbos are very expensive in the UK many of us opt for light NA tuning, highest one thats reliable that I'm aware of is 184 bhp, but is like a 2-stroke engine to drive, he gets beat from the lights by Coupes with 30bhp less than him.

I was making close to 170whp with my '01, but had cams and port matched/decked the head.
