Default 200 horses all motor?

Is it possible to get a beta engine to 200 horses, all motor? No boost or nitrous.

With approximately infinite money and time, yes.

On the budget of mere mortals, probably not.

I think an old-school Hyundai guy named Tdonnell holds the "official" NA record of 157whp here in the States. I did hit 162whp, but lost the dyno sheet. My highest I can prove is 152whp. This was with a stock bottom end, but with cams, head, and every bolt-on you can imagine. I probably could have broken 200whp with high CR pistons, a stand-alone ECU and C16 race gas. No way a Beta can do 200whp NA on 93 octane pump gas.

How easy is it reaching 200 horses with a V6 tib?

Not too hard. V6 gk's respond well to N/A mods. Might be over 200 with a full N/A build. There was a guy in Orlando with I/H/E Cams Upper and lower manis, reflash and maybe some other stuff. Forgot what he was at but it was either 200 or more.

I/H/E, NGM Stage IV upper intake manifold, cams, and a reflashed ECU should be more than enough on the V6.

the Rally car is a 250hp Beta I bored out N/A. I don't know about the details of it though. I believe the secret is big bore, carbon fiber flywheel, larger pulleys, sequential gearbox, race fuel and pump, and a damn hardcore ECU tune. it's pretty badass.

this one with the above mentioned mods is from Mallorca, Spain.

as i have no idea how much power we gain from advancing the timing, but you could run methonal as well and advance timing with a nice tune would see some nice numbers i would think.

^^ i thought the beta I block couldnt be bored much over 1 or 2 mm because of wall thickness
