Default 1997 Tiburon FX Crashed

I crashed my tib. I think he is dead. Engine runs but the axle is broken so car does not drive. windshield is cracked, airbags are out. Anyone know an estimate on fixing a broken axle? someone told me 3k. I may part out the car because its done otherwise.

If you have the cash and want to go fast...Find a cheap (high mileage so it's even cheaper) RD and work on the engine you have now. Then swap her in when she's done....

Otherwise, I'd take some stuff off your hands if you decide to part her out. Little interior things.

3k for fixing a broken axle? eek.gif

punch whoever said that in the stomach for me. you can find a used axle a junkyard for under 100 bucks.

If he broke an axle in an accident, most likely theres suspension damage too and possible bent fram.. You just cant brake JUST the axle from an accident (atleast I dont see how)..

well.. I see you are in South Jersey.. hit me up with a PM or AIM and I can maybe swing by and see for myself. WHile Tibs in yards are rather hard to find around here, I am sure there must be something to be found.
