I consistantly get over 30mpg.... not bad for a car with 124,000 miles. I have also noticed that my fuel economy falls in the winter. It might have something to do with letting the car warm up for five minutes before I sit my arse on the seat.. I hate getting into a cold car!

I will throw away money if it involves my butt NOT getting frozen in just 10 minutes of waking up to go to work the morning.
This is when winter<u> really </u> sucks ass. (no pun intended).

well, someday when I get around to installing my seat heaters... I will not have to worry about that.
I also know that we use reformulated fuel in the winter here.. it is not bad enough that your engine naturally ingests more fuel in winter as it is due to it's increased density in cold air.. but they add stuff to the fuel that is supposed to "help" then enviroment (while making people ill who breath it while refueling) a d make us use more gas.

What's worse than cold seats is a cold steering wheel. I swear, mine feels like ice in the winter, I have to wear gloves to even hold it in the mornings. I'm guilty of warming the car up with the remote start as well. But my worst mpg record during the winter is still around 25.

For some reason, the Tiburon consistantly gets better Mpgs than the RDLantra, or so I've noticed.
Two RDLantra owners I know get around 25-28mpgs. My Tib has touched 32+ mpgs. Perhaps its aerodynamics/ weight?
