-=| (Tib 99') Replacement plastic peice needed with B&M S.S.|=-
Howdy yall,
So after my alumi short shifter snapped in half (yes, snapped in half) while shifting in to first, AND after I cleaned my pants from almost getting T-boned, I realized that it's due time for me to upgrade my short shifter to, oh, let's see, ONE THAT WON'T PHUCKIN' SNAP IN HALF! (SNAP IN HALF: Base of shift rod breaks from fork of device.) Which left me S.O.L. So I did the unthinkable, I bought a B&M short shifter off of EBAY right quick.
After install I noticed one thing, at the base of the new shifter, the rod on the bottom of the blue brick....(see link)
http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Desc.cfm?...delDesc=Tiburon
there is a white plastic part that fits on the rod, which in turn slide in a pully peice. (Do you follow?) Yeah, well, that peice did not come with my kit, so I'm using the old peice that does not fit which in turn gives me REAL sloppy shifting no matter what gear I'm in. (aka: lots of play in any gear.)
If you look at that link, you'll see a pic of my shifter, to the left side of the BLUE SQUARE PART you will see the rod that I'm talking about, on the end of that rod is the only white plastic peice in that pic. I need that peice BAD! the one I have is way...way..WAY to loose. Does anyone have any idea how to get just that part? Or better yet, some solution for this in general? HELP!
-Otis
p.s.- I have close-up pics of my setup but I don't know of a server to put them on, much less how to do it, so if you like, I can email these to who ever wants them. Thanks all!

Contact B&M, tell them you have one of their shifters.
And the exact problem you told us.
They'll send you that little white bushing,...
Maybe a few bucks, but will probably be free. THey've been known to break off.

That's the bushing and you are supposed to use the stock one. Maybe yours is too worn out. Contact your local Hyundai Dealers Parts department and order the part below.

I could have sworn you had to use the stock one. My B&M didn't come with one.

Hello all, therin' lies the question, and I think the piece I have is a part of my first old school short shifter because it looks like the top of a flat head screw which causes some play like forementioned. It was soo long ago when I chucked my old stock shifter that I don't know anymore.
Java: Thanks for your help and for giving me the part number, I think I'll just order one from B&M.
Kay & everyone else: Anyone have B&M's number off the top of their head? Save me some time cause I'm hella busy today.
Thanks all for your help! Next time your in Denver I'll buy you a brewski!
