No sanding or clear coat? They looked a little gritty.

 

well i wanted the flat black look, thats y i didnt clear it, and i didnt sand it because it sticks fine without sanding

 

I meant after spraying. Maybe it's just the pic, but it looks rough.

 

I would like a wet sanded finish a bit better but I don't know if that's ok to do on the nightshade paint. It does look really good but a little rough.

 

damn that looks really nice. it doesnt look so much gritty to me, but just matte.

im thinking of smoking my taillights but my friend says thatd look tacky. :\

 

yea its a bit rough dry.gif, not too bad though, its a little rough where the tint meets the white part of the light

 

I'm not real familiar with the nite shade. Can it be sanded or will that screw it up? It looks good either way. I could just notice the roughness on the closeup.

 

yea im not sure if it can be sanded, i wanna find out before i do anything, my friend was saying something about wet sanding it so idk ill find out

 

I know it can be wet sanded if clearcoated (my friend does this for money on the side), but I'm not positive if it'll cloud it without clearcoat. A good flat clearcoat would look sick. All good flat black paintjobs (hell no I'm not talking about primer black) still use a clearcoat they just use a flat clearcoat without any gloss.

 

yea if i get some time to ill try clearcoating
