Need a new exhaust, any recommendations?
Ran over something that poked 3 holes in my muffler and piping attached to it. I was driving and I heard something like a rock bouncing around under neath and next thing I know, my exhaust sounded like someone was weedwacking. So the piping will just be fixed with universal piping from a muffler shop but I would like to get something with a little more of a growl and dont want a ricey canister muffler. So what do you guys recommend for a 2005 Sonata?

Big engines growl at low frequencies. Small engines sound like weedwhackers. There's only so much you can do, but the muffler and exhaust tip can make a huge difference. A quick google search will find as many recommendations for low-pitched mufflers as there are brands of mufflers. I think the best bet, since you are going to have the exhaust done at an exhaust shop, is to describe what you want and let them pick appropriate parts. Maybe work out some arrangement beforehand that, if you don't like the sound, you'll be able to have them change the muffler for a different one at a reduced cost.

Greetings, Youtube is a great stop to search for mufflers for your Sonata. Will give you somewhat of an idea what is available. You will also find what you don't want... as you mentioned... ricey firecracker! I added the firecracker...
