Default 2007 sonata suspension upgrade q's

Hey there, Im helping a buddy out with his sonata. its an 07 gls, 2.4 The struts front and rear are toast so i figured while im doin the work he can splurge a little with some nicer struts, but all i can find are the KYB GR-2's. Ive found H and r springs and Eibach's also. If i do springs im goin with eibach, the progressive spring will give it a better ride, but i wana be sure to get a strut that will match the higher spring rate. Anyone used the Eibach KYB combo? suggestions? Its not getting coil-overs so dont even mention em, lol....is there any interchangeability with other models? any info is appreciated!!

HYB-GR2 are what you will want, there great, work well, they ride great when just going to dinner with the family ans superb when your running late to work, and need to take that on ramp to the interstate a little faster than you probably should in a GLS. These KYB's will do you a great job, if that is all you can find, then good. That way you dont end up buying a crappy part!!!

When i had my Car on stuts and springs, i had H&R Springs on KYB's LOVED IT!!!!

Why do you want to change the spring rate?

Stocker, I think he was just asking if the KYB's would work with a Progressive spring, that is why i mentioned my story of being comfortable cruising and still have teh ability to leave the family at home and take the car to the twisty on ramp a little faster than you should!

For GR2's being a good strut for this application.
