Depends...how heavy is the vehicle? What "speed" are you refering to?
On a go cart, 180 HP is damn fast. On a 6000 LBS Ford Excursion...it would be damn slow.
HP is not fast or slow...its the power to weight ratio and the gearing that makes "speed". With the proper gearset, a 25 HP motor can exceed 100 MPH in a streamlined top speed car giving a sufficently flat section of earth on which to roam.
What are you looking for? Top Speed? 0-60 Time? 1/4 mile time?

My man Z, are you talking about your Santa Fe? If so, 180 isn't shabby, comparible to most other import SUVs. My brothers Xterra is around there, wieghs more than Santa Fe, and it is a good driving SUV. Answer Random's question:

Well, let's make sure we all understand your situation. You are the current owner of a Santa Fe equiped with the V6 motor, and you are wanting to know how to increase top speed, 0-60mph, and 1/4 mile times?
My very first question would be, why did you purchase a Santa Fe for such purposes? And no, even if you do own a Santa Fe, it does not weigh in at over 2 tons (4500 lbs). You are much closer to the 3000 mark... MUCH closer.

just top speed, and 0-60. I didn't buy the SUV, my parents did. I wanted a sports car but i'm stuck with the SUV, so i'm just trying to make the best of it.
