Default ab-b Hyundai Veloster Re:Mix is production-ready fun from SEMA

Filed under: Aftermarket, SEMA Show, Budget, Hatchback, Hyundai

The Hyundai Veloster has been a popular base for customizers at this year's SEMA event, as its accessible performance and funky looks lend themselves to embellishment. But not all of the Velosters on the show floor are one-offs or flights of fancy; Hyundai has brought along this Re:Mix edition that will eventually show up on customers' option sheets.

The Re:Mix package is designed to appeal to those Veloster shoppers that would like something a bit more evocative than the standard car, and perhaps a little easier to maintain than the super-cool matte-finish option of the Veloster Turbo. The new trim level brings along a custom body kit and a nice level of specification that includes push-button start and some killer black wheels.

The whole thing can be finished in one of five color options, though the "hero color" for the Re:Mix is this Spirit Gray, which Hyundai has dubbed a "glossy matte" finish. (We'd opine that this is simply a nice, non-metallic gray, but splitting hairs over color names at SEMA is a time-consuming business.) The graphics package seen here is a dealer-install option, rather than a standard feature, too.

Hyundai has priced the Re:Mix out at $20,6675 for the six-speed manual car and $21,925 for the DCT (both prices include a $775 destination charge) to start. Enjoy both the stock and live galleries of the new Veloster and give us your opinion of the thing, in comments.Continue reading Hyundai Veloster Re:Mix is production-ready fun from SEMA
