ab-b Hyundai and Ark Performance tune Genesis Coupe R-Spec for SEMA
Filed under: Aftermarket, SEMA Show, Coupe, Performance, Hyundai
We haven't finished preparing for this week's Paris Motor Show, but it seems it's already time to start prepping for SEMA. We're getting to the point where it just wouldn't be a trip to Vegas without a pile of tuned Hyundai cars, and this year's bonanza begins with a Genesis Coupe R-Spec with a serious hotting-up courtesy of ARK.
Leaving no doubt that this is not a car for getting groceries, carbon fiber accessories like a front splitter with winglets, new hood, and rear overfenders under the decklid and wing have been draped outside. To make sure all of that aggression isn't wasted, the 3.8-liter V6 has been boosted to 395 horsepower and 340 pound-feet of torque, with a performance intake leading to a Brian Crower 4.2 Stoker kit and other internals strengthened with the necessary upgrades.
The driver's office is a "custom interior" by JPM Coachworks, featuring a Sparco wheel and seats tucked into the roll cage. An LSD keeps things in order, six-piston brakes front and rear bring things to a stop and it'll sit low on the job over ARK coilovers. Now you have something to look forward to come November, which the press release below will tell you more about.Continue reading Hyundai and Ark Performance tune Genesis Coupe R-Spec for SEMA

Stock, the 2013 V6 comes with 348 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque., So let me get this straight....they added an intake, stroked out the motor, put in new internals, and it and only got an extra 47 hp and 45 lbs?
