Default Where did you buy your engine and tranny for your swap?

I bought mine from a junk yard. Totalled 2001 tiburon with 39,000 miles. Picked up both the engine and tranny for $720 total.

Engine from wreckers yard, $1200

Wiring harness from wreckers yard, $600

Tranny from crashed car, $50



For the DOHC alpha swap:



Written off car, $100









I was young and wreckers were convenient. I'll not make that mistake again
