Guess that means now it has to be possible to put a nice 6 speed from the gtv6 and throw it on my 4 banger that would be nice. Get a little better gas mileage too. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Just wanted to tell you that V6 does come with a 5 or 6speed. I just picked up the GTv6 5-speed since no 6speeds were available.</div>

I was thinking...if the 5 speed is the same tranny as the I4...then there's GOTTA be some way to hook the 6 speed up to the I4. *evil gears in head start rolling*

From the pics I have seen on the 6spd, the differential is in the front, so th etranny sits back more on the V6, so it will not mount up!!

When I goto the BBQ my Bro ID TUNNING is having, I will be taking pictures and measurements of the 6 spd, and taking a good look underneath.

i am an ass, hehe, swap auto to 5spd, swap 5spd to 6spd heehehe

Uhhh guys if you wanna really go for this better get all the information you can on the bell housing bolt patterns and the specification of the input shaft. Also, check the height of the bell housing, and offset of the final drive housing in relation to where the 5spd's was...good luck guys!

The Omega is the damn V8...which makes less HP than a V8 is suposed to, but has a sh!t load of torque.

And if it isnt the beta (which im starting to like a whole lot from these posts, more than the eclipse engine i was told i could put in my car....) then would it fit the 95 Elantra? And yeah.. what about that six speed tranny... id love to switch my current tranny for a better one too =p
