Has anyone compiled a list of engines that are compatible with a 2000-2001 Tiburon?

the 2.0l Beta.....hmm let's see.....that's about it.

What did you expect? To find a list of all these honda engines....sorry no dice.

If you have a 1st gen Elantra then you can think about some Mitsu engines but anything after 97 forget about it.

evo motor but you'd be paying a hell of alot of money, its cheaper to turbo it to a good 250whp for daily driving and quick dragging and oder stuff

I thinking there were some mitsu engines out there that could be used yes, and I was expecting only 2 or 3...and I have seen turbo eclipse engines swapped in to a 2nd gen, not to mention a 2.7L V6 in a 1st gen...so, only a 2.0L beta...I think you should look around a little more beyond TeamSR forums.

what u dont understand is i could probably get a 350 into a tiburon... but it would cost alot of money, u asked for swaps, meaning direct swaps... ther are no direct swaps into a tib... u have to custom fabricate everything...... so going by that u can fit a porsche 911 TT engine into a tib if u really wanted 2 spend the time and $ doing it

2.4L http://tuningshop.hihome.com/english/tibur...hyundai_tb.html

but the most similar engine to the beta is the lancer EVO engine... but those are illegal here in the states

but for the money you spend on that... you can have a 600whp beta monster
