ECU are the SAME. I really wish people would start listening. I think I have listed that on this forum an other like a zillion times.

Axles are NOT the same. But the Auto and Manuals Axles are interchangable. What makes them different is on the differtials side the Automatic uses a Triple OFF Setjoint on the Diff side. and the Manual uses a Doulbe offset Joint, the DOJ is suppose to be a stronger, less cheaply made component.
