Turns out it's a lot faster than mine. tongue.gif

To be fair, it was all a little uphill and above 50 it's going up a steep hill. I'll try to find a flat spot later and do it again, I was just testing out my new suction cup camera mount.

I'm bored, so I did a comparison video and timed the acceleration to the hundredths via frame times.

There are lots of ways to do it, I bought this for $18 at Best Buy:
Sunpak Suction Cup Monopod

It works sort of okay. Would probably work great with a light camera. Mine's about as heavy as a SLR but if it was lighter it would work 100% perfect.

I want to get the GoPro Motorsports Hero Wide but I have to wait until I have a couple of hundred bucks extra.

It was still wet out but I tried again. Best I could get was a 9.40 0-60. I'll try again once it's dry.

Tried again with it dry and warm and got some better results. The car was running better and pulling smoother too. I made several runs which ranged from 7.8 sec to 10.0 sec to 60. Average was 8.52 seconds. I tried to find flat looking spots but didn't have any way to tell whether it was a little sloped one way or the other.

Best run was:

0-30: 2.93
0-40: 4.40
0-50: 5.67
0-55: 6.67
0-60: 7.80
