motor mounts

When doing the beta swap, is it better to get new poly fill mounts or will regular stock ones be fine?

My stock ones have the consistency of Jello. Anything would be better. Poly mounts or fill yours with window weld.

Window weld is a nice cheap alternative.

I used silicone rubber and that worked also.

Window weld did a good job on mine. Just make sure you let them completely harden before install.

just to let u know, stiffer mounts will transmit more vibrations into the cabin, especially with the a/c on,

do one mount at a time, so you don't have a car with the feeling of the motor bolted to the frame

u can use window weld"urethane"
or flexane which is a liquid that gives better results and reduce air bubbles

Do the front/rear first. Then, if you want more, do the sides.

In the case of my car Tak82 you are 100% wrong. My stock mounts were falling apart, and the engine was flopping around, causing severe surging under heavy acceleration. The stiff mounts make NVH levels go DOWN in such a case.

i've got 3 stock mounts and one metal mount

holy f*ck vibration. its actually a bad situation to be in, its putting huge stress through that solid mount.
