hmmm yes well, It sounds like it all worked out. I use full standalone. ms3 plus ms3x. oh yeah sorry. thanks for the info on the canister purge valve. I have it disconnected before the valve because without the valve being powered or hooked up to a vacuum source I was worried about building pressure in the canister. I figured at least it could vent a little if it needed to or should I just plug the hose.

here you go . Im sure the CKP mounts in the same location on the block on the beta 2 as the beta 1. These are my setting. They are also the same setting that are used in the MSnS-Extra Manual in the example for Wheel decoder Setting. This actually came off of a Kia Rio Example.

see here for Link to Manual--->MSnS Extra Manual

thanks. I am actually looking for the tooth#1 angle (degBTDC). I am using tunerstudio and the options are a little different and I had trouble opening your msq. I have checked it with my timing light at idle and cyl#1 fires 9 degrees BTDC, thats what the accent 1.6 service manual says the cyl should fire at. I just assumed it would be similar for the beta2. Im having a little trouble getting a solid idle it always seems to drop down to about 450 rpm then settles at about 580 rpm and its a little jumpy. I wanted to confirm with someone about there angle so I can eliminate that as an issue. Sometimes on deceleration it will stall out but I havn't messed with any accel/decel settings yet. Thanks a bunch.

If you checked it and its 9 then its probably right. The idle drop almost sounds like you need to adjust your idle valve Hz setting.
Your VE around your idle rpm will have a role in that also. You can richin up the lower rpms so if it trys to drop it will bounch back up in a sense. If you hit up my link on my sig and download my screen shots you can see my setting instead of trying to open my msq. What code are you running?

MS3-pre1.0rc6
I noticed in the msextra documentation on uploading firmware that the link for the code brings you to an actual MS3 release directory with 3 newer releases. Do you think it matters if im using the prerelease for MS3? Everything seems to work fine right now I just need to put more time in to fine tuning.

If it runs it runs, but they don't release new versions without making changes. If you can find out what the changes are you might find you want to use a newer release.
