Don't know about the 1.6 starter but I know the 1.5 starter would not fit right. I also used everything from the 2.0 betaII including the wiring harness and a few other items to kill the CEL and pass the ref station inspection to be California smog legal. Major pain in the ass but worth it in the long run.

How did that work out with the motor mounts? I just used the 1.5 mounts and slotted the 3 on the trans 1/4 inch to make room for the belts and fabricated the one on the motor.

Would all have the part number off hand for the 2.0 starter?

No but if your looking for a good used starter go to all hyundai and isuzu auto recyclers. They sell rust free parts and ship. I have never gone away empty handed from there as they are always stocked other then a few times with body parts i was looking for. Phone number is 916-635-8951. they are located here in Rancho Cordova were I live, I would recomend them to anyone.

I used all hyundai isuzu also for my CVVT solenoid i just sent them a picture of what i needed replaced and they mailed it to me for a fair price.

used the beta motor mounts on the front and rear of tranny, they were a bit beefier than the 1.5 ones. Driver side mount was fabricated, i think I used the 1.5 mount for that and cut it. Then the passenger mount was from RyanOlson. I did not have to slot anything and I have about 1cm on the passenger side between the wall and the belts.

by the way hotblue02, you're Rob from HP right?
