1.5L tanny on a beta
I was just thinking about this.
Will a 1.5l tanny work on a beta motor?
The reason I ask this is because of the flywheel. The 1.5 has a smaller flywheel than the beta or 1.6L!
What do you beta swapers think?

Yes it will work. I am not sure of the clutch/flywheel combination specifics but I know it's been done. I think searching on HP will probably find the answer.

The problem with using the 1.5L trans on the beta is the fact that you have to notch out a section on the beta block to get the slave cylinder for the clutch to fit.

Maybe theres been small changes, i had a 1.5L manual trans from a 02 Accent and a beta 2 motor from an 02 elantra, that was the issue with me so i just used the 02 Elantra manual trans instead.
