The reason I posted in this topic is because I noticed Red Raspberry said they save on insurance by storing the car. I hope you keep SOME insurance on the car when stored, I went to remove the insurance off my Accent one year it was in storage and because it was still technically owned by the bank I was told I HAD to keep FULL insurance on it! Not too sure if it's the same where you live, but just thought I would add my

I think they keep comprehensive insurance on it. The bank doesn't have a clue.

I live in Alberta Canada....ya its being stored!
I have a few winter vehicles.....gives me a chance to bag on them
I have seen a lot of Gencoupe owners run their cars in the winter with snow tires and have had no issues.

Mine is parked right now. I've had it out a couple of times since the winter here in Alberta has been super nice!! Right now though I have the intake off so I can fix it up. I found the mounting bracket where my AEM mounts was broken making the I take rub on the frame!! It was almost through the metal when I found it.

I drove mine 2 winters, then realized it would cost me more to prepare the car for it's 3rd winter than to buy a beater. She's a great winter car when properly equipped for snow.
Once you drop the car on coilovers, it's a bit of a hassle to gt it back to stock height, then have it aligned.
Right now the winter over here has been very mild so, I'm kinda regretting not driving her still, but after what happened with our other car, I'm glad she;s tucked away...LOL

Im in Alberta, i put mine away at the beginning of Nov.
But about once every two weeks i start it up and let it run for a 1/2 hr or so, take it around the block just to get things moving and lubricated, its been so nice up here i actually drove it a few days last week, roads are pretty dry so i figured what the heck.
Probably dont have to start it up every 2 weeks but i really didnt want to leave it sitting until Mar.
