Default Who really honestly has drifted their cars?

I love how anytime someone buys or owns a rear wheel drive car, the first thing that people talk about is taking it drifting. I have never once ever drifted the car by accident or on purpose. I guess I care too much about it and I use it only has a daily driver. I dont beat on it or force it to perform above the regular duties of a street driven car. I know there are people who buy cars, mod them like crazy, and use them as drifters or race cars. But those people are a low percentage. Then there are the people who think they are professional drifters and take their stock or lightly modded cars out on public roads or parking lots and try to look like they know what they're doing.

I haven't drifted but I did powerslide the Tiburon a lot in different conditions. Got it sideways on an intersection by mistake! It's good practice.

I have drifted cars in to snow banks, ditches, walls, rails, usally they end up being totaled. So yeah I have drifted.

I've been to a drift event, and drift pretty regularly at non-events also.

Drifting is just one more part of car control. You want to learn how to steer well, shift well, brake well, and grip well.

I mean it's just one more thing to learn, you don't have to wear your cap backwards or anything
